Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is done at the Harbour through four main venues:

The first is through informal times of ministry to one another as we grow in Christ and enjoy different expressions of life in community in small groups, age related events and common ground opportunities.

The second venue is the leadership of specific ministries as they become aware of any pastoral needs in their own teams and int the lives of those they are serving.

The third venue is the Home Fellowship leadership team (hosts, children coordinators, worship leaders, administrator, leaders and assistant leaders). This team is able to assess in more depth the needs and strengths of each group’s participants. The HF leaders (and particularly the leader) play an important role as the first response team for pastoral concerns in each group.

The fourth venue is the pastoral team of the Harbour Church as they take on any extraordinary need that is brought to their attention by the other venues of Pastoral Care. All members are free and encouraged to share their concerns with anyone in the pastoral team.
