The Harbour Model

The Harbour is a community of believers with a heart to walk out our faith as Biblically as possible. Our church structure is simply an attempt to steward the precious things that Jesus Himself is doing in our midst. A model and a method have no power in themselves to change hearts or reveal Jesus Christ to men. This structure is a wineskin existing to contain what the Holy Spirit is doing in our specific local church. We desire that none of the Holy Spirit’s work would be lost.

Home Fellowships

These smaller break-out groups of the larger Harbour church body meet in homes throughout south Florida every Sunday morning (except 1st Sunday). Each Home Fellowship consists of a time of worship, a group Bible study, personal ministry, a time of prayer, communion and a meal shared together at the end. Home Fellowships are the heartbeat of our church, providing a safe place for people to share their hearts, express their ministry gifts, form mentoring relationships and forge friendships. We believe that the intimate community and spiritual interaction that takes place during these times is not only changing lives, but rebuilding our understanding of what God intended His church to be.

First Sunday

First Sunday is more than just a corporate church meeting. Whereas we meet in smaller Home Fellowships on other Sundays, the First Sunday of the month is a time for all Harbour Home Fellowships to gather as a family in celebration of Jesus. This time of worship allocates time for personal ministry, testimony and individual prayer. Children 1st through 5th grades will join their parents for worship and then return to their classes as the Word is preached to communicate the vision and direction for The Harbour community.

Friday Nights

In place of a mid-week service, the 7:00 pm Friday Night meeting is for the entire Harbour body and the south Florida community at large. It is a night to encounter the presence and power of the Holy Spirit through intimate corporate worship, the preaching of God’s Word, and a time of personal ministry. Our heart behind the Friday Night Service is to address the issues facing today’s generation through topical and prophetic teachings. Check out out podcast page to get a feel for the teaching.
